We arrived Thursday afternoon! It was a tiny airport, so we walked right up to our plane, walked down the stairs!! We had a totally bitchin' room! There was a sunset view of the Adriatic Sea! Woo Hoo! There was a tanker right smack dab in the middle of the cove, and it even took good sunset pics. The beaches here are pebbles... no, rather they are small stones! OUCH!!! It was funny watching every one tender foot out of their cot into the water. It was like a ohhh- AHHH! ritual dance! On that note there are always funny looking people at the beach. I am not saying that I am not one of the pasty funny looking ones, but there was free entertainment as far as the eye could see! Topless, overweight, leathery grandmas, beached on a rock. Let's not forget a very special mention to our proud but crack grandpa! He was strutting all over, all day long! Since I am on the subject, of being subjected to eye sores.
