Rothenburg Part 5 - The Striffler Bakery
Published Sunday, May 25, 2008 by Beth in RothenburgWe went to the Striffler bakery to try the"infamous" Schneeball, since we heard that this bakery was the originator. A Schneeball is leftover bits of dough tossed together, and traditionally rolled in powder sugar. Sound Good? Well it wasn't... however my pastry was good.
We noticed that all of the bakeries had a crest similar to this one above their door. I Think it is pretty cool!!
