This is Blutenburg Castle. It is very close to our hotel, about 3 kilometers. We went for a walk and found it! It is a really neat, mostly because there is a small "moat" stream that flows all around the castle. It is a relatively small castle. They hold concerts inside the walls, and there is a quaint bier garden outside.
On our walk home we saw field mice, many ducks, 2 swans, and a beaver in the stream!!
This is a WWII monument for the Halocauct victims... pretty creepy...
This is an example of the houses which surround the park where the castle is located.
