This is a partial sideways video, but it was too cool not to post. This was inside the Kathe Wohlfahrt Christmas shop. This shop is known throughout the world as the premier Christmas shop in Germany. The video is a moving display of a stuffed toy town. I don't think we were supposed to be taking pics...
We went to the Striffler bakery to try the"infamous" Schneeball, since we heard that this bakery was the originator. A Schneeball is leftover bits of dough tossed together, and traditionally rolled in powder sugar. Sound Good? Well it wasn't... however my pastry was good.
We noticed that all of the bakeries had a crest similar to this one above their door. I Think it is pretty cool!!
This is the tower in the town hall. We climbed to the top. There was many flights of very steep slim stairs. (I didn't even trip or fall!!) at the top was a large bell and a narrow walkway all around, giving us the perfect panaramic view!!
