Lindau, Germany

On our way back from the Rhine Falls we stopped in Lindau, Germany. Both the Rhine Falls and Lindau are cities around the Bodensee (Lake Constance) Here is a link for more info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lake_Constance
Lindau is a city which is also an island in the Bodensee. This was the last stop on our 3 cities/sights in 2 days. The sprint back home was on. Since it was Sunday we missed most of the tourists in this town!!! Oh what a relief!! The lighthouse was a pleasant surprise. Inside was a history lesson about the Bodensee and Lindau. We don't read German so it was mostly lost on us. We climbed to the top for the view, and we were fortunate enough to meet a very nice man. He explained how the Rhine dumps into the lake, history of the lighthouse, and other facts. He also gets props for taking the best pic of Marc and I !
Dey waz frontin' n squakin'da ducks wuz from da street. They wuz freaking out, an' honkin. We wuz scared so we's left real fast. We had uh classy dinner at thr rat crib what 'chew thinking man? -- http://joel.net/EBONICS/translator.asp
